Who is Alfred?

Alfred Eng Shu Heng is a law student from Penang, Malaysia who is currently pursuing a degree in Law in the month of September. He is a writer, athlete, Boys' Brigade Corporal, a pianist, a drummer, one who makes YouTube videos with his girlfriend Alicia and today, a blogger.

I've spoken English since a young age and as time advance, I've found myself drawn in novels and storytelling. This blog allows me to share my work that I've personally written as a past time and some essays that I've used in my examinations. It is an honour to get an A* for my A levels law and with that I would love to share my passion for law with everyone who comes across this site.

The Boys' Brigade

Being a Corporal in the Boys' Brigade is one of my proudest accomplishments that I currently achieved. I am a member of the First Penang Boys' Brigade, the first company of the Boys' Brigade to set foot on the land of Malaysia. Founded in the year 1946, it has now spread far and wide across the land by the help of God's power and grace.

From a follower, a leader and to a listener of the members of the Boys' Brigade, I have now grown to be someone I never thought I could have been.

Being in the Boys' Brigade has certainly shaped me to be well prepared into society and a better person as a whole.

Performance in School

The fact that you would catch me in a debate competition with my peers would be a one in a billion occurrence. I spent most of my high school days on the tracks preparing for races and I am personally a 100m and 200m sprinter. Although I am not the best of the bunch but I'll still slide in a note that I was awarded with the best performance award in co curricular activities.
